My Faithful Friends,

Tis the season to show some gratitude . . . and give a little love.

I am grateful to all of you for reading my stories and supporting barenakedinpublic.com for the last three years. Your kind words of love and praise have encouraged me to keep on writing even when the words were difficult to share.

In addition to my blog, I am now a regular contributor to Holl & Lane Magazine, and I am writing my first book while abroad in Italy.

Without a doubt, writing has been a catalyst for important changes in my life, positively impacting the trajectory of my spirit and profession. With my mind and heart aligned, more than ever I believe in the healing power of love.

My wish for everyone this holiday season is that we may be healed by love; by graciously  accepting love, and unconditionally giving our love. I promise you, each of us possesses this  amazing power, and with it . . . we can change the world.

I am a sister, mother, nonna and loyal friend. I am most proud of these relationships. They are my greatest accomplishment. In 2017 I took a leave from a 20 year career in education, the last 14 years as a school administrator. I sold everything I owned and moved to Italy to write and have a little adventure. I returned a year later with the manuscript for my first book, a memoir, Bare Naked in Pubic. I'm thrilled to announce it was published by Torchflame Publishing (an imprint of Top Reads) in July 2024. I love writing. It has helped me organize my thoughts and work through some pretty tough life lessons. It was writing that gave me the courage to change my life for the better. I encourage everyone to tell and share their stories. It's the only way we can find our way back to each other. Thanks for stopping by :-)
